Title: pistachio shortbread?

I really like the shortbread recipe in the EDC, but was wondering how to add some pistachios to it? And should I be using raw or roasted/ salted or unsalted ones? :-\

I made the Christmas shortbread (recipe on here I'm sure) with craisins and pistachios and just added a small bag of pistachio's - am thinking roasted. I added 80g (recipe said 100g) but think the recipe was about twice the size of the edc one (which we double anyway)
