Title: Thermie Newbie from Brookton WA
Post by: Pikelets on December 08, 2010, 02:29:28 pm
Hi All,

Just thought I would get in on the action and introduce myself to you all! I live on a wheat and sheep farm about 140km east of Perth with my husband and 7 month old son.

I got my Thermomix almost 2 weeks ago and have been having a blast! I'm not much of a cook so it is quite unusual for me to be excited about cooking! I have just found out that my son is allergic to dairy (through my breastmilk) and I don't really tolerate it that well either, so that is was one of the reasons we bought the Thermomix, plus my new year's resolution is to cut out as much artificial food as possible!

I am really looking forward to experimenting and making the most of our investment! I am excited about making my way through all these recipes....and I would love to buy some more THermomix recipe books.

Cheers
Paula (Pikelets)

Hi and welcome to the forum Paula. What great news that the TM has sparked your enthusiasm for cooking. There are many forum members who have dietary restrictions so you will find lots of help here.As to the cookbooks, I'm sure one of the demonstrators on the forum who live in Oz will point you in the right direction, because you see I live in the U.K.
