These are just slightly different to traditional anzacs for a change. I based the recipe on a CSR one.

CP - My mix was very dry so I ended up adding 65g water, probably should have added only about 40g as they flattened a little bit and weren't as perky looking as yours. Never mind, they taste delicious. Adding chocolate and apricots makes them very special.
margi191 - they are beautiful, definitely a keeper this recipe!
Chelsea - they are very yummy. Thanks for the recipe Cookie.
JD - I whipped up a batch of these this morning, put them in the oven, turned around and there was the bowl of chopped apricots looking at me. So, out of the oven, back into the bowl with the apricots and I started over again. Very nice thanks Cookie. I made about 40 cookies.
Amy - This is an awesome recipe cookie! Thank you. I made it exactly as per the recipe and they were perfect.
Kimmyh - very yummy.
-
thanks cookie, like the apricots in them too. havent any biccies in the house atm so will make these tomorrow.
-
cookie do these have any liquid like boiling water included? 1/4 cup or couple tablespoons perhaps - my mix is quite dry?
-
No they didn't. Anzacs usually have boiling water but this didn't. If it's too dry I don't see why you couldn't add it. Only the melted butter and the golden syrup.

How many does this recipe make girls? What sized spoon did you use?
-
Judy I can't remember how many this made but I'm sure they freeze well. I always use a teaspoon when I do biscuit mixture. It is sort of a slightly heaped teaspoon IYKWIM.

They look great Kimmy :D Why are yours darker than mine?
-
Probably because of the poor quality if my photo and ..... I might have left them in a bit longer than you. I tend to overlook bickies a lot.

I made these for the first time tonight and DS has already eaten about 6 before they even cooled so I'm taking that as a positive.
