Hi all,
I went to the festive class in Willy on Wed night and they had the oat cakes t g with the salmon dip. I bought the festive book and then realised they are not in there. Can someone please share the recipe?
I am happy to post any of the ones from the festive book if anyone has any requests.
TIA.

I have searched everywhere for this recipe Alycia - any idea what book it is in? I fancy I have seen a picture of it somewhere but just cannot find it.

I wonder if they were the French Oatcakes on page 96 of the Vegetarian cookbook??
-
Hi Ladies, thanks for the replies, I think it may be the french ones as I thought it was in the vegie book which is only one of the very few that I dont have.
Cheers

Ah yes, that's the one - there is a picture too. Knew I had seen it somewhere, remember thinking they didn't look very appetising :D :D Will send you that recipe Alycia. Thanks Chelsea.

JD would you mind PM'ing the recipe to me too please? Thanks.

I need to start using up a lot of oats . . . has anyone tried these?

There is a good review of the French Oat Cake (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5453.0)s GF ;D Do you need the recipe?

Tenina's Cranberry and Almond Granuesli uses 5 cups of oats ;)
Flapjacks (http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1148640/yummy-golden-syrup-flapjacks) uses a fair amount too ;D

Thanks CC!! I did see that review a few minutes after I saw the recipe request. I do have the recipe and it certainly seems simple enough :D
Thanks, too, for reminding me about the Granuesli! :D Will do that one, too!! :-* :-*

GF, my husband's favourite cake uses lots of oats. I converted his family's recipe for Parkin and posted it on the forum here http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7280.0;prev_next=prev (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7280.0;prev_next=prev)
It keeps very well so I'm told, but it always disappears quickly in our house

Thanks, ES!! have just had a look and printed it off . . . it looks lovely!! :-* :-*

I've ground oats a few times to use as flour. This recipe from CP uses milled oats and is yummy.
