Title: January Thermomix in Australia Competition
Post by: Thermomixer on January 05, 2009, 07:54:47 am
Please get your recipes in to Tenina at  recipes@thermomix.com.au for January's competition.

Your entries need to be in by close of business on January 16th WST. The theme for January is relaxed summer food for entertaining or BBQ's.

A TMX book for the winner.

i don't think i have any BBQ type recipes :(

hmmm i have some i could make into thermomix recipes but would i actually do it that way? probably not lol

by the way tenina, i wonder if you could clarify any preferences you have about where the original recipe came from? if we take someone else's recipe and convert it ourselves is that ok? or does it have to be totally original?

Are there any rules, or do we just email a recipe?

I'm thinking of converting one of mine.... I can still post the conversion on my web site can't I?  And pictures here?  Or do I have to wait till after the competition?

Mail Tenina at recipes@thermomix.com.au to find out.  There don't seem to be "rules" published anywhere.

No reason why it can't have been published before going to TMX in Austrlia - the first one that I sent in had been published earlier in the year.

I sent one in for barbecue sauce, but.... just thinking, what else can you make in the TM for a BBQ ?

Not just BBQs but think picnics or poolside casual eating - nibbly things - tuna salad???

think ... tuna salad???

LOL, then that makes sense.  Lot more things to consider.  This past year I joined a team that participates in BBQ competitions, so I was thinking pretty narrow....

Prefer pretty original, or at least unrecognizable...and prefer to publish new and interesting, rather than something that may appear commonly elsewhere...not that I am searching! hahahaha Time being what it is and all! :-\
