Hi Everyone, Well i have had my thermomix for nearly 2 months now and i have had so much going on i haven't really done it justice yet. My main issue is being organised enough up front with the ingredients needed to try things. I have 3 kids, 7yr. 5yr and 3yr. You'd think i'd be able to cook up a storm to feed them but my 7yr old son Dylan does not eat orally, my 5yr, Nathan is the fussiest eater (like things plain and untouched) my husband is also on a high protein diet so that normally just leaves my 3yr daughter, Izzy and myself, BUT, i have a Lapband and cant eat a great deal to justify cooking a full meal for us two.
here's some of the things i have done, eclairs, biscuits, Butter Chicken, Pumpkin soup, Chicken and Cashew, Beef Vindaloo, several breads including Isi's Portuguese rolls that my Portuguese husband and his mother LOVE. lots of sorbet's, mashed potato, rice and tonight i finally did the Chicken and Sweet corn soup !!! This machine is awesome and everyone i have introduced it to wants one :-)

Welcome!! Oh wow Sarah - what a hand full you have!! Hope TMX can help you out with that - looks like you've had fun so far! ;)

Welcome.
Hope you can come up with some more ways to use the tmx with your diverse needs.

Hi Sarah, welcome to the forum. Considering everything, you have done well.

Welcome Sarah. You do need to be multi-skilled at the moment. I have a friend who has lap banding and when she is here I usually do a soup for her and her sweets are always some sort of sorbet.

Hi Sarah, Welcome to the forum.
You sound as if you've got even more going on than me :o I've got three boys 8, 5 and 2 - The oldest 2 are on the autistic spectrum (albeit only slightly) so getting them to try new things I've made in the TMX is "challenging" :) The oldest is medically underweight and on prescribed supplements so if he doesn't like what I've made I have to do something else .... :-))
We've had the TMX now for just a couple of weeks and I'd say most things have been a pretty good hit - they like the jam I made, the nutella, the pancake breakfasts ... I'm in the UK so I think I have a different cookbook to you but the chicken and vegetables i made were loved - it was a little Chinese style and they loved it, the butter chicken I made on Friday, not so much ....
For me I've made lots of veggie soups, never have they been so easy.
Because the boys are on a high fat diet its just great to be able to quickly make something without all the modified fats that off the shelf stuff has in it.
Good luck with it - I'm sure it will go great
Nik
