Title: Cookbooks
Post by: Zan on October 28, 2010, 01:27:37 am
So decided to treat myself to some cookbooks - I want the Indian one and the Meat one.
Anything else?
Seen a few good reviews of recipes from Budget Busters I think?

And how do I order them? Just call head office? Assume you have to pay postage?

Yes Zan. Could you get them from your consultant?

I can't find my consultant's details and haven't heard from her since she delivered the TMX. Don't think she lived around me anyway so probably wouldn't be worth her while to drive all the way over here for cook books - assume the consultants don't make much commission on them?

I paid $9 postage when ordering from TMX HQ.

I didn't mind paying that.....but I did order a few things  :-))

Best to order from a consultant close by or at a class - otherwise they don't get much at all, and if you order from HO they do charge postage!

Don't know of a consultant close to me (I can't find the details of the girl that sold me mine, but I think she was about an hour away so she probably wouldn't want to drive here anyway) and in Sydney the classes are in the city I think which isn't viable for me.
I've been putting off buying the cook books because of not being able to work out how to get them, lol, so think just paying the postage from head office would be the easiest and quickest.

Hence, why I'm trying to make sure I get all the books I want, lol.

So any other suggestions?

The vegetarian is worthwhile.

Does anyone have a list of the Vegetarian cookbook recipe index? (I couldn't see it on the cook book contents board).

I think it is $9 flat rate shipping to Sydney.  When I ordered I order My Way of Cooking, Budget Busters booklet, thermomat, brush, and Meat on the Menu.

I think I should have added a spare spatula.  My spatula is starting to look like it has been attacked by a puppy!

I recommend the brush.

Anyone know how much the spatula's are? I think I could do with another as well. Great idea, thanks Amanda.
