Hi all
As a child I remember my dad cooking a loaf with all bran. Anyone have a good recipe for this using TM? If I recall correctly it might also have had dates in it?
Any other healthy slices, loaves, muffins, biscuits also appreciated. My love of Thermomix is making me fat so have recently joined weight watchers!!!
Thanks, Katherine

This is a recipe I was given:
1 large mug mixed dried fruit
60g brandy
1 large mug bran flakes
1 large mug milk
1 large mug soft brown sugar
1 large mug SR flour
1.Soak fruit and brandy overnight or for at least an hour
2.Mix bran flakes, milk and sugar soak for 1 hour
3.Mix well together, add flour, stir to mix
4.Pour into lined loaf tin
5.Bake 45minutes to 1 hour 170c.
6.bake until a skewer inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean
7.Cool 10minutes in the tin, turn out to cool on a rack.

The one I have always used which is the simplest loaf in the world (too easy to dirty the Tm) is:
1 cup All Bran
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup mixed dry fruit (but I just use Sultanas)
1 & 1/4 cups milk
1 cup SR Flour
Cinammon to taste (about 1 tsp from memory)
Put all but flour in a bowl & leave for 1-2 hours for milk to be absorbed.
Add flour & mix well
Bake on 180 degrees for 55-60 mins.
Makes 1 x 500g loaf.
