-
Brazen started one here jerjill but not much has been added lately. It might give you some ideas though.
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1529.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1529.0) By all means start posting your menu plan in this thread and it may kickstart others into joining you.
Quirky Jo usually has one on her blog regularly http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com/ (http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com/) . You will find her blog very interesting and different.

Hi Jerjill - haven't heard from you in ages!! Glad to hear your Thermomixing still going strong! Look forward to your menu planner. ;)

I've made myself up a sheet that I use. I only plan for dinner as the rest it pretty standard for us. I'm lazy and haven't been bothering to put it up on the forum. It helps with using up leftovers and shopping.

hi sorry for the late reply i have done another weekly shop and to my suprise i didnt have to buy no where near as much as last week as i still have a few leftovers for the next week so i will be making a few variations to last week menu but trying to us up the same ingredients i will post a couple of recipes today and tomorrow thanks :)
-
here is the pork dumplings and i have to apologise i dont really have set times for cooking i guess my way through things and hope they turn out :)
250g pork mince
40g chinese cabbage (i used a bit more)
2 shallots
2/3 cloves garlic
10g ginger
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons cornflour
40 wonton wraps
sauce
60ml soy sauce
2 t/sp white vinegar
2 teaspoons brown sugar
chop garlic and ginger add mince and than add rest of ingredients and gently mix together.
place a teablespoon of mixture into wonton wrappers
place dumplings in batches in large bamboo steamer (i dont have one so i used a normal steamer they did stick a little bit but doesnt take away the taste) they only take about 4 or so minutes to cook.
wizz the sauce up in the tm and serve it was a big hit both from kids and husband i also deep fried some i know its not as healthy but still tasted very delicious :)
-
chicken tandoori burgers
you can either make your own chicken patties or just use chicken breast and marinate i have done both and both are delicious if you want to make your own chicken patties mince thigh fillets with the paste about 500g and only need couple of table spoons of paste and you can make you own paste or buy it your choice :) than add half cup of breadcrumbs with fresh coriander and just shape and cook other wise here is recipe for marinade
foccia bread made in tm of course
100g tandoori paste
2 tbsp greek style yoghurt
1 tb lemon juice
1 lebanese cucumber
80 g baby spinach
3 tomatoes
mint leaves
mango chutney
minted yoghurt
180g greek style yoghurt
2tbs mint
wizz in the tm tandoori paste, yoghurt, lemon juice than pour over chicken breast and marinate and leave sit for at least 10 min longer is best so it can absorb the flavour.
cook chicken on grill meanwhile wizz in the tm the mint sauce
layer the burgers with rest of ingredients and use vegetable peeler to slice the cucumber lengthways into thin ribbons spread with mint sauce and serve with mango chutney
ITS DELICIOUS!!!
-
satay chicken noodles
absolutely delicious!!! i love this recipe!!!
90g chunky peanut butter
60 ml soy sauce
55 g brown sugar
2 tb lemon juice
2tbs water
279g ramen noodles or dried egg noodles
600g thigh fillets or chicken breast
1 baby wombok
250g sugar snap peas
3 shaollots
1/3 coriander
place first 5 ingredients in tm and cook for maybe 5 min on 90 on soft speed (again i am sorry i not good i with exact times)
set aside
heat peanut oil in tm than add the chicken probably for about 10 min than add wombok sugar snap peas and shallots and coriander in last 2 mintues of cooking mix together with sauce and the noodles and serve its really delicous!!!!!!
-
yum! this recepe deserves a thread of it's own

I had no wonton wrappers but made some bread dough and put your yummy pork filling onto dough and steam it in Varoma - pork buns! Mmmmmm ;)

Bump ;)
Hope you don't mind, but I thought there were some awesome ideas here.
Cheers.

I nearly always menu plan. I find it invaluable for shopping and the children love to know what's coming in advance. Having a menu plan saves all that post school run, what shall we have for tea stuff!
I'm happy to post the plans here - usually its just dinners but occasionally breakfasts too.

Me too! My friends think I'm weird, planning a menu for the week - but I feel really lost without it, especially on busy weeks!!!
-
Things run so much more smoothly when I do a menu plan! I have just started again after a big period of procrastinating and I am loving it. It also means I am being more adventurous with different meal choices too!
-
OK This weeks plan if it helps anyone
Mushroom risotto
make your own pizza
macaroni cheese
shepherds pie
steak
coca cola ham
roast chicken
Not very imaginative this week as we have decorators AND carpet fitters in!
