Hi, I'm new to this forum so I am trying to work it all out. Have a TMX and I am loving it!! Looking for yeast free bread recipe to do in TMX and also how to stew apples!!? I'm so new to this cooking everything from scratch. In my previous life I was the 'Packet queen'!! ^^ ;D

Hi and welcome Multiltoy. Can't help you with a yeast free bread recipe for the TMX at this point. Will check out my bread machine book and maybe have a play in my TMX and see how it goes. Must confess I haven't stewed apples in my TMX yet. Made the Caramel Apple Pudding tonight and that was great. You don't cook the apples beforehand, they cook with the pudding. Check out the recipe in the desserts section.

Welcome Multitoy. The only yeast free bread recipe I can think of is soda bread, which you could do in the TM.Can't think of the recipe off the top of my head but can help you with the stewed apples. It's taken from the U K Fast and Easy cookery book.(I have not tried it!)
4 large eating apples, 500-700g, 2 tbsp honey,1tbsp sugar,1/2tsp vanilla essence, 75g water, 20g unsalted butter.
1.Core the apples, peel all except one and cut into quarters.Put the apple quarters into the TM bowl with the honey, sugar, vanilla and water.Mix30 seconds/speed 4.
2. Scrape down the sides of the TM bowl with the spatula.Cook 8 minutes/90c/speed4
3. Add the butter and mix 5 seconds/speed6.
Once you get to using your Thermomix you will never use a packet mix again.Enjoy experimenting.

Welcome to the forum Multitoy. It will be interesting to see how quickly you forget about all those packet foods and make everything from scratch. It is so easy - your supermarket trolley will look a little different in coming months I am sure. Have fun, let us know what you are making.

Welcome Multitoy - sorry don't have any yeast-free recipes for bread. Soda bread and damper may qualify?

Welcome Multitoy! Well it looks like you've got the recipes to get started. Good on ya Cornish Cream!
I have a sister-in-law living in Townsville but hasn't taken the TMX plunge yet - I'm still working on her. I grew up in Ayr - small world ay! ;)

Welcome Multitoy. When I stew apples I put them into the bowl as quarters, give it a VERY quick blitz to break them up slightly. Add a tiny bit of sugar and a teaspoon or two of water. I then cook it on 1000 slow speed, or 1 if it's battling until done. Just keep an eye on them. Try 10 minutes or so first.
