I have made these several times, and they are delicious- especially hot out of the oven. They are pretty quick and easy, and use mainly standard ingredients so can be whipped up for unexpected guests. I would give them 5/5 served hot, and 4/5 served cold.

Thanks CarolineJ - I have been meaning to try them.

Handy for those of us that don't own MWOC. Thanks.

Yes, we were wondering how we were going to get this recipe.

Pleasure - good to see TM HQ publishing recipes from the book before it was released - now I don't feel so bad.

I made these last night and they were delicious!!
They are quite simple to make and I actually made 15 - maybe 'cos my muffin tray holes are a little smaller I think.
The cinnamon stick I had to remove had chopped up so hard to find some pieces and the lemon peel I left 'cos I couldn't see it to take it out but nobody complained.
Everyone who ate them loved them.
I would agree they are best served warm and don't forgot to brush the muffin tray holes with butter first so that they come out easily after they've cooked.

I made a heap of these in the mini muffin trays for a family do over the weekend and they were the first things to go. Very yummy and being little - they just seemed to disappear in one bite. The kids loved them.
Tasty, I had the same thing with the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel, but strained it through a seive before I poured the mix into the pastry.
Be nice as a dessert made in the small tart/flan (?) dishes I have.

I tried these tonight. Good but not great, as I found them a bit 'mealy'. Next time I would use cornflour not flour for a silkier texture. Also make sure get plenty of lemon in, or use teaspoon of vanilla extract to give some depth. Once I try these tweaks will report back, but thought worth mentioning if anyone else is wanting to experiment in meantime.
