Title: Getting out the last little bits!
Post by: HeyMcJude on May 31, 2010, 12:50:47 am
I have been milling quite a few things - my own LSA, baking powder, vanilla sugar etc.  To get the fine stuff around the base and blades I have been softly rubbing with an artists paint brush that I keep in the kitchen (never seen paint).  It gets an amazing amount off the base - 2 or 3 teaspoons.  I hate waste!

Good idea.  I have used a pastry brush, but we have an artists' brush for cleaning the pasta machine & it would get into the nooks and crannies. Ta.  :-* :-* :-*

Just noticed that somebody else does the same ;) http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3489.msg45403#msg45403 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3489.msg45403#msg45403)
