Title: New Thermomix user to be from Perth
Post by: Jennifer on May 21, 2010, 06:19:45 am: Hi all my name is Jennifer i am a mum of five which includes twin boys. We had our demo last night and my hubby was blown away, he loves to cook also, so we will be receiving our Thermomix early next week!!

I was also very naughty and brought all the cook books available.!! Now just gotta get the mat and the steamer.

The older 2 will be able to use the TMX themselves as well as reap the health benefits with their 3 younger siblings. It's a great investment so congrats on a very wise choice. ;D ;D

Not sure what you meant by having to get the steamer - the TMX comes complete with the varoma steaming dish & tray and also the steaming basket which fits inside the bowl.

Post by: CreamPuff63 on May 21, 2010, 03:40:35 pm: yes the varoma steamer is included in the price, so you may as well tell your consultant to bring around a brush $5 (to make cleaning easier) and a mat $60 if you can afford it. You'll use both a lot.
(only quoting prices off the top of my head from memory)

Be sure to check out the Recipe Review section to see what people have made out of the various books and to see how the recipes have been tweaked so you can take that into consideration before making the recipe. Have fun. Look forward to hearing more from you as you enjoy you new cooking adventures.
