We'll I'm finally here. My thermomix arrived a week and a half ago after my mum bought one almost a year ago and my sister six months ago. I am single so it took me a while to convince myself a thermomix was worth it when I only cook for one but am loving it.
My first night I made the stock, chicken & vegie soup & bread (as well as some jealous workmates the next day).
Since then I have made various things including the spinach and fetta scrolls, various soups & smoothies, banana bread, risotto, tuna morney . . . can't remember them all.
I have now made pretty much all the things that sold the machine to me and am looking to spice it up with some new ideas and am following my sisters advice that the most useful thermomix accessory is this forum.

mosquito, so pleased that you have finally got your TMX. Use the Forum and share your ideas with us.

Hi Mosquito, welcome to the forum. Your sister is dead right, glad you took her advice. You are doing really well in such a short time and the TMX can feed 1 person or a whole family. Have fun.

Good on you for making all those dishes and making your workmates jealous! There's some great recipes here, as well as lots of tips and ideas. Welcome and enjoy!

Mosquito has a very wise sister who now doesn't have to share her machine anymore, and can now share enthusiasm and recipes.
Did you deliberately not reveal yourself to the dark side? Not even a name? Should someone (maybe me) dob you in? My place of refuge has been taken over, I'll have to be very careful what I now post about dh, ds, dd, mil and whatever other family member initials there are out there.
Welcome Mosquito. Don't forget to post reviews of the recipes you liked.

ROFLMAO I was wondering who the wise sister was :D :D

Ha ha, keep on her back Cathy - if she posts as much as you have, she will be a great addition to the forum. She will produce some great dishes if she becomes as keen as her sister. Love to see whole families joining the forum.

Welcome Mosquito. You will be one upping in no time. What fun.

Welcome Mosquito, good on you for taking your sister's advice. I have a sister who lurks on this forum but hasn't joined up yet. She has had her TMX a week longer than I have and hasn't stopped using it since she got it. I'm still waiting for her to take my advice and join the forum.

The mosquito actually come from me prac teaching days when one of the kids pointed out that my name 'Miss Kitto' sounded like mosquito. Sorry I've been a little slack on the forum front, still loving my TMX though. I have a Tupperware party after work next Friday night so about to go looking for some quick & easy after work ideas to thrill my friends with. :) Jacqui
