Hi everybody,
I am very new in this forum. I've been checking some great recipes all you guys added and I would like to contribute with some that I have.
I am a Turkish girl married to an Italian living in Italy. I came to know Thermomix (aka Bimby) thanks to my mother-in-law and her Christmas gift! You know how Italians about cooking. They love to eat! :)
To be honest I didn't know why it was such a great deal until I started using it. It's been more than a year now that I am using Thermomix. I must say I am more than pleased!
I usually cook Italian, Turkish and now also English recipes. In fact there are already few recipes from this forum that I tried. I am gonna give you feedback asap. I use different sources such as magazines, books, blogs, forums, mother's recipes...etc. I either adapt them to Thermomix or just copy them sometimes with a few modifications.
This is the first forum that I am registered. I hope it works out well because I have no experience about forums actually.
I will try to add some recipes now. I hope you like them. They are all tested and tried by me. So we can say that they are fail-safe
By the way, as a non-native English speaker, excuse me for any linguistic mistakes.
Nice to be here
Ciao ;)

Welcome Farfallina - I like the idea of some Turkish recipes and look forward to reading them.
Please don't apologise for your English - if you hadn't have mentioned it, I would not even have realised that English was not your first language.
-
Welcome to the forum Farfallina - how lovely to have you join us here. Can't wait to see what recipes you are going to share with us. Don't think I have ever cooked a Turkish recipe but have done plenty of Italian meals in my day. Hope you have fun on your first forum, you are doing well so far.

Welcome farfallina!
I love Turkish food! I have made a few Turkish/Lebanese lately after borrowing a Claudia Roden book from the library. I did force myself to return it, but I would love to buy it!
-
welcome farfallina. one of my favourite Turkish recipes is the Gozleme which is in our Budget Busters book. I love the look of your biscuits, and will give them a go hopefully over the weekend. I may need to buy a piping bag though to get the same effect as yours. you are very lucky to have such a generous MIL :)
-
Gozleme? I love it too! I hope someday I add a nice recipe also for that.
I hope you like the biscuits as much as we do, be careful about the cornflour/cornmeal ingredient though. You will find the explanation in the post and comments
I am gonna pass your comments to my MIL ;)

Welcome to the forum! I look forward to making your wonderful recipes! I also love gozleme and, of course, Turkish Delight...
Your English is excellent! :). I wish I could converse and write in another language. :-\

Farfallina, your English is excellent. Loved your blog and thought I would be able to copy some things once I converted it to English but no way could I follow the translation. You could get a job anytime being a translator and do a far better job. Would it be possible, when you have time please, to post translations of the following recipes from your blog.
Mushroom turkey, elvan girl soup, vegetable boereks, bread rounds ( salmon, spinach and walnuts), zucchini with garlic and parsley, soup of fresh and lastly flowers bakery.
Thank you :-* :-*

Why Farfallina? I don't know. Maybe because I couldn't get "Thermomixer" and instead i got a piece of it? Farfalla=Butterfly :D
Si, mia suocera is the best! ;) You speak Italian?

Hi judydawn, I know that web translators don't work so well. As a matter of fact I've been thinking to translate some more recipes for the forum but hadn't decided until now. I start with the ones you've asked for. I've been away for the weekend and came back home today. I will add them asap
