Title: Recipe review - Puy lentil sauce - UK TMX site
Post by: versaceyoyo on April 13, 2010, 01:26:49 pm
Recipe Name: Puy lentil sauce
Book Name: UK TMX site
Tweaking details: none
Review: absolutely delicious with fish
Score: (out of 5*) definitely 5

Served this tonight with pan fried sweet lip - it was delicious.  Be warned - it is very liquidy and could almost be served as a soup - I served the fish in large bowls surrounded  by the sauce.  Both DH and I agreed that if we had ordered this dish in a restaurant we would have been very pleased.  The flavour of the cardamon pods is definitely there, so avoid if you don't like that taste, but otherwise, very impressive.  I love how the UK site has recipes from the best chefs.  So blessed to be able to easily produce this calibre of dish on a Tuesday night!

Thanks - VYY - it is great with all the chefs recipes there, although some are a bit too restauranty for most of us for Tuesday nights.  But I agree that to have the recipes from professionals show how the machine really can be utilised.
