Do the raw milk laws change between states? I was under the impression it was illegal to sell raw milk anywhere. Best bet migh be to find a local farmer and ask him (or get your own cow, but ours cost us a mint in feed when we had them).

True Russell,
that's why I'm asking on the forum..... I guess not very clearly though.

In Qld we have Cleopatras available at health food stores and the like... and it's labelled that it's to be used for cosmetic use only and titled "Bath Milk".
It's always been very popular and often sells out within hours of stocking.
Not sure about other states. :-\

It is illegal to sell raw whole milk for human consumption. It is able to be bought for "other purposes" and I know some-one who has done it. I will ask him (although I think I know where he got it).

I know this is a really old thread, but its had lots of views so just in case anyone is still looking. You canbuy shares in a cow through MooView on the Victor Harbor road just over Willunga Hill. I think they have some delivery areas, but I pick up from the dairy each week. Great milk1 Just google and you'll find them.
