Title: Demo...Delivery....what order?
Post by: Deeau on April 06, 2010, 09:44:26 am
I am the classic TM wannabee.... only discovered them last week and I want it now!
I am rural NSW and have found a very new consultant that has a weekender in my areas so is not here full time.
I am having a demo in about 2 weeks, do I pay for the machine first and get her to deliver it then? Or wait and then order at the demo? Are their benefits in doing it one way or the other? Incentives? Costs? etc?
Is there a delivery charge? Do I still get the thermoserver ( which I know I will use allot ) if I don't have a demo  but place an order? Do I have to have a delivery demo ? Please explain how it all works, I am a bit confused.....the TM looks great but it seems hard to actually get your hands on one
Thanks
 ???

Hi - great to have you here!  ;D If you know your going to get it, I say order it now otherwise you'll be waiting 2 more weeks for it to come after you've ordered it. It will be $40 postage (make sure with consultant for your part of Australia) and you will still get the thermoserver for having a delivery demo if you have 2 other people there from separate households. You'll be glad to have the Thermoserver for making yogurt, keeping dishes warm or keeping sorbets cold.  ;)

Just thought of something else, if your consultant lives on the coast it is only $10 delivery so would be cheaper for her to get and bring it out to you if she lives in cheaper postal area. Ask her??  ;)
BTW there are no more benefits for doing it either way except that you'll have it quicker. You only get Thermoserver if you have demo plus this month you have an opportunity to buy a second bowl for a discounted price. Look at this link about 2nd bowl.

WOW - so much to do, so little time.  Hope some of the other consultants can give some good advice.  Thanks nay-nay.  Interesting about the postage etc.

I told the kids I was not going to buy ice cream any more so I suppose some sort of sorbet/icecream will be the first order of the day.
For me I am keen to try my cake, biscuit and muffin recipes as I cook them every couple of days, but my main goal is to use it as much as possible without have to go to the gym more than I do! :o
