Feeling very frustrated! My credit card had to be cancelled as someone in the US was trying to use it! :o :o >:( :'(
So now, impatiently waiting for the new one to arrive so I can order some cookbooks....
-
Oh NO!! Did the bank tell you what the source was or which internet site it was from ?? :o :'(
-
Well they told me that the first one was iTunes US site at about 4am in the morning for about $1.90 that went through, but then the next one was for just under $1,000 was declined (because it's a visa debit). When they first rang and asked about the iTunes one I said that sounded OK, as I'd purchased a few things from there a few days earlier and wondered if that's what they were asking me about, but then someone rang back and explained that I'd purchased from iTunes Australia :-)) before but not USA and that it was at 4 am in the morning - and I would have been fast asleep then! So then they told me about the second transaction and explained that a typical pattern is to try a small transaction first then a bigger one.
I was just really thankful that they were onto it so quickly and alerted me :-* :-* :-*
-
How lucky were you ILB to have such a vigilant bank :-*
-
Ouch ILB - now see if that was me I would have looked at Itunes and not given it a second glance either!! So glad it wasn't a bad outcome for you apart from the frustration :)
-
How annoying and frustrating for you ILB. A pleasing result from the bank though.

My cookbook arrives tomorrow!!! ;D ;D ;D
