Hello all
Another Kiwi has a new thermomix and loving it. I purchased it only a few weeks ago and have progressed to converting old recipes.
My adult daughter calls it my tupperware so my TM is now lovingly called that
-
Welcome 4everyoung, we would love to see some of your converted recipes ;D
-
Welcome to the forum 4everyoung, I too would love to see some NZ recipes on here.
-
Welcome to the Forum - to be honest, it actually based in Portugal, but us Aussies have hi-jacked it.
Have fun and look forward to lots of Kiwi classics - remember though that pavlovas are Aussie ! ;D
-
Welcome. Is Thermomix catching on over in NZ or is it still very new?
-
Welcome 4everyoung

The thermomix is still very young in NZ. I heard about it from the Australian Master chef and got hooked when I googled it. If I did this in NZ it came up with lots of thermal garments and no kitchen appliances. I know of no one in my area that ownes one.
Don't get me started on on who first came up with the great pav. We know who invented it and you Aussies only think you know - but you are wrong as usual lol :-)) :o ;D
-
Welcome to the forum - maybe you should become a consultant and sell one to all your friends!! ;)
-
Not entering into the pav debate. The only Pav I know is called Matthew!! (Go the Dockers!!!)
Welcome!
There's an opening for a consultant in NZ then by the sound of it....

ROFL MJ. I see you're glad that it is AFL season again. Re your Pav we will have to agree to disagree. I'm more of a Woosha girl (old chook) myself.
Judy our teams get together over Easter. May the best team win-mine! ;D ;D

As long as it is a good match to watch Cookie - I didn't join up this year so will be watching on TV and I hate that, would much rather be there. Too much going on at the moment for me to have the luxury of a few hours on my own vegging out at a footy match. Don't like the speed of football these days, wish they would slow down a bit and they might kick more goals instead of having all these rugby-type-scrums around the ball.

Welcome 4everyoung. I have a friend from Auckland coming over in a few weeks and I am hoping she will become enthused with the *: . We will be cooking with it for sure. Whatever we make in it will be accompained by your great Sav Blancs.
Enjoy.
