Well we've gone an done it now. We've ordered a Thermomix :)
I think our consultant has just made her easiest sale ever.
Do we get some sort of record for going from "never heard of it" to "bought one" in less than a week, and without even seeing the thing?! ;D
Russell.

On ya Russell! You won't regret it for an instant. Can't wait to hear about what you cook first.
So are you still having the demo, but it will be a delivery demo?

Yeah still trying to have the demo, but a hiccup with our date, so depends when we can re-arrange the day to. Not longer I hope!!

Good for you Russell!!! ;D
The waiting game, isn't it painful lol
Sounds like you caught the bug, TMX. ;)

That's pretty much the norm around here. :D Good for you! ;)

You won't be sorry Russell! ;D
-
I bought mine sight unseen too. no regrets, coyote. ;)
-
A customer of mine's husband, after his wife told him about Thermomix at around lunchtime (I told her what they could do at playgroup that morning), spent the afternoon researching it on the net - he then bought their machine sight unseen as a surprise birthday present for his wife :o ......................So not not unusual behavior at all ;) Well done you will love it!!
-
Good on you Russell. You will not regret it. Mine was bought sight unseen and delivered to me at my delivery demo. You won't regret it. Now all you have to do is WAIT.

I have to WAIT? It won't be there when I get home??
OH NOOOOooooooooo.....................!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Just a moment......................just heard a low flying jet.......................could be a TMX on its way.
-
You will really be one of us once you take delivery of your TMX Russell. You won't want to go to work to earn a living, you will want to stay home and play with your wonder machine all day. Can't wait to read what you have been cooking.

We have had a couple of friends who have been ultra fast too. One saw one at a demo one day and had signed on the dotted line and become a consultant within a week.
MrsT bought ours and she had troubles getting the consultant to deliver it without a demo - she paid and wanted it - but they wanted to give the demo...

I can understand that. In direct marketing, it's the next sale you line up that is more important than the sale you're making, if you want to keep doing business. But yeah, from the customers point, it can be annoying. Also living rural, you get to be a bit more patient as you realise yourself that travelling long distances is not something you can do on the spur of the moment, and you always try to combine multiple activities into the one trip.
Luckily Easter & school holidays is giving me other things to do though, as patience really isn't one of my strong suits.

Congratulations Russell - you will love your new baby - mine has been working overtime since last Sunday when I had the demo - I keep on thinking of new things I can try and so far have done 23 different breads, sauces, meals, yoghurts, jam, ice cream, mayonnaise - the list goes on but you will find out how obsessive it becomes yourself. Good luck, Mil

MIL do you have a large crew to eat all these goodies? That is my problem, getting rid of the things I cook. The neighbours won't answer the door to me anymore. :'(
-
You should start a soup kitchen Cookie. ;D
-
Poor Cookie, I can just picture you walking up the street with a plate of food in hand and returning with said plate of food and a forlorn look on your face. Maybe you should move house and get some new neighbours :-* :-*

I don't think I've actually tried any of Mrs Cropley's ideas as yet, but you never know. Perhaps anchovies and chocolate cake may be tasty!

Ho ho ho... laughed out loud! Only funny cuz it's so TRUE!
I must have been the only one who jumped for joy when the kid next door was diagnosed gluten-intolerant :o All I could think about was how I could make her some gluten-free cookies in the TMX!
I had teenagers at home when I bought the Bimby but now it's just me, the Bimby, and the neighbours ... (maybe that explains all the FOR SALE signs in the neighbourhood....)

Helene. I know exactly how you feel.
