I have noticed the last few times when making bread, that the :-: activates, when jug is locked and on :: kneading bread. Doesn't happen instantly, but after about 10-20 seconds.
Has anyone else noticed this before?
As I am standing there watching the machine in the process, I quickly de-activate the :-: button.
I don't know why it does it, and was concerned it may cause some damage?

That's what the kneading function is - it rotates back and then forwards - automatically. Don't mess with it or it might break! ;)

Oh.....thanks nay-nay, that was never explained to me.
I feel stupid asking, but glad I did now :D

It's ok Maddy.. I'm sure we've all wondered about the simpler things it does at times! :D
-
At least you noticed Maddy, I hadn't :-)) :-))

Sorry Maddy :-[ - I didn't mean to make you feel silly. No questions are stupid - questions lead to knowledge - that goes for anything in life. :-*

I tried to turn the reverse button off when I first noticed it on when kneading. You're not the only one Maddy!!! ;D

Phew! I wondered if I was the only one ;)
Don't worry nay-nay.....I didn't get that vibe from you :) Glad you set me straight! Don't know if my machine would be covered by warranty if I was the cause of breaking it ???

From memory it goes 4 rotations forward then one reverse and then 4 forward and one reverse etc etc.

Maddy, there is so much to take in when you get your tmx that often things are missed or forgotten :)

I haven't ever had a demo or anything as I bought my TMX from a show, but I do remember when I first saw that :-: happening during kneading, I was worried about my machine... Then I just assumed that's the way it works.
