Just got new cookbook - My Way of Cooking, International Edition 2 ;D. Have had a quick glance through and it looks really good - finally a cookbook with loads of pictures (even steps pictures) usually full page pic with recipe opposite, thorough intro with detailed info about using the machine and hints tips. Each recipe has a total prep time, portions, difficulty rating and nutritional info per serve. Also index had little flags to indicate what country the recipe originated from. Not spiral bound, has ribbon bookmark. It is a really well presented cookbook. Meagan listed recipes/contents here http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2612.0
As far as I know only way to get is to have a demo, then you can purchase for $30.

More like the Full Steam Ahead cookbook alioop? That is my favourite looking book for the TMX at the moment.

I was going to have a demo so that I could get it but have no free days in February. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( I must be toooooooooooo busy. I truly don't know how I found time to work.

I don't have the Full Steam Ahead one JD - I haven't checked that one out as I had heard that the recipes were a bit to "unusual" and not really things you would make on a regular basis - how do you find it? The My Way book seems to have heaps of recipes that I would try and probably cook regularly. It's worth a demo cookie ;D ;D when you do have a spare few hours ;D ;D ;D

When I first got it (the Full Steam Ahead book) , way back when I bought my TMX, I thought it was a weird book as far as recipes go (very European way of cooking) but on closer inspection there are quite a few things that I would cook. Slowly we are getting reviews from this book and I just pop a postit on the recipe so that if and when I do get around to doing some things, I know where to head first. It's all a matter of having time to do all these things I want to try. I only need to cook 3 or 4 meals a week for the 2 of us so it is going to take me a while to get around to lots of the recipes I have earmarked.

I love this book!!
So far i have made the chocolate cake, and the Ketchup as i have a glut of tomatoes atm, both awesome, i am constantly seeing things i have missed in it!! I agree and like the way it is all set out step by step and shows good pictures of the steps and finished product.
Have heaps of people wanting it but can,t get them in for Demo,s in Feb so maybe they will run it again before it comes out for retail?

I hope so.

Ooo Meagan is bringing my copy over on Saturday! I liked the step-by-step layout and photos too.

It is a great book. think it is by far and a way the best TMX cookbook that I have seen, especially for somebody starting out. Will report more later
