Title: Tassie Festival Demo
Post by: Chelsea (Thermie Groupie) on February 15, 2010, 03:36:14 am
Yesterday DH and I took our kids to Festivale in Launceston (a huge food, wine and entertainment festival in Northern Tas).  We were wandering around looking at all of the food stalls when DH noticed a man in chef pants scurrying past with a TMX bowl in his hands.  Intrigued, we followed him and he lead us to a TMX demonstration with the wonderful Chef (and Tassie TMX GL) Fee Hoskin.  My kids weren't at all interested so I decided it would be too difficult to stay and watch (and I thought it would probably just be another risotto and custard type demo [yawn]).  It was much later in the day that I read the program and realised that she had been making a dish of Tasmanian crayfish on parsnip puree with mint oil and lime dressed salad. Bummer!!!  :(

Yeah,  would be good if HQ organised a tour of Australia for Fiona like the Nico classes

I said to someone the other day, wish Thermomixer would work in with H.O. and tour Australia showing us the talent we know he has in the kitchen - would be packed with members of this forum.  How about it Thermomixer?

I have a great body for radio - would scare everyone away.

I think HQ may be doing some advertising/promotion soon - watch this space.

Interesting menu Cecilia.  Hey, how about popping over to the Introduction thread and telling us a bit about yourself.  I've been reading lots of your postings tonight but we haven't officially met  ;)

I wish I wasn't heading to the mainland this weekend. I would have been very tempted to head down for that class.  Great work Fiona!

There is a back to basics class in Devonport.  I think it is the 22nd of September. Fiona is hoping that the Devonport classes will be a hit and that we can then have some advanced classes up here soon too. I would love to do advanced classes with Fiona. :)
