I hope you all join me in remembering all those who tragically died in the Bushfires, last year in Australia. As Australia is paying homage to the victims today and as we have many fantastic Australian members here, I thought it appropriate to think of the victims, here at Forum Thermomix.
Thank you

Thanks MM, how compassionate of you to think of the unfortunate people caught up in last year's horror. It is obviously still very raw in their minds and perhaps something they will never ever get over. I for one, certainly join you in remembering this dreadful period of our history.

What a wonderful thought MM. I too join with you in remembering the victims, their families and all those who lost their homes and suffered in the dreadful bushfires. Watching it on the news today I sincerely hope that those people are slowly making their way in a new life. My thoughts are with them all.

Yes - I too have been thinking about them all day. Thanks MM. I think that first anniversary is always the hardest to get past when you have endured a tragedy. :-* :-* :-*

Thanks - it certainly was bad for many this time last year.
Yesterday I was talking to some people who lst their entire olive plantation. They have used others olives for this year - and will have to for a few years to come. But at least nobody died in that fire.

What an horrific day and we'll never forget.
I still clearly remember stepping out at lunch time to grab some groceries and felt chills through my body as the air was heavy and had a feeling of impending doom. Only a few hours later did the news start to come through of the tragedy. Remembering all those that were affected.
