cookie - We had this for dinner tonight. I really liked it but DD and DH weren't over fussed. I think they are too used to different quiches. So in future it will only be a small one for me. They can go without. I felt so industrious, first I made the mayonnaise and then the pastry and lastly the quiche itself. A true TMX meal.
I had leftovers for lunch with salad, I loved it just a much when it was cold. Next time I'll have mince in mine and they will get ham or something similar. That will keep them happy.

Judy, this looks interesting. I have always thought of quiche as only eggs and things. I will give it a try.
Mum always used to call quiches egg and bacon pies as Dad wouldn't eat quiche. :P

LOL - lots of egg and bacon pies in the 70s for that reason. What is keysh larain?
Thanks JD another one for family meals in a hurry. :-* :-*
-
Judy did you use the TMX mayonnaise for this recipe please?
-
No Cookie1, lazy bones me buys SW Light Whole Egg Mayonnaise but there is no reason why you couldn't use your own home made one.
-
Thanks.

This one sounds interesting JD....

ILB like a lot of TMX meals, it tastes even better the next day. I took it out of the quiche dish and reheated it on a pizza tray with holes in it and that helped the bottom crisp up a lot more.

It's disappointing Cookie when you go to all that trouble and they don't like it. Thanks for trying it.

I am still waiting for my TMX and was thrilled to find this recipe already made TMX friendly, we love this and I make it regularly, it will probably be one of the first things I make :)
