Title: Hi from WA
Post by: rainbow on February 04, 2010, 02:06:37 am
HI
I have had my thermomix for 1 week now and really enjoying it.  I have made Isi's bread, lentil patties, dips and today hope to do butter and a main meal.  I live in Albany on the south coast of WA.  I am vegetarian but my husband and daughter are not so a mix of meals happens. :)

Hi Rainbow,
There are so many wonderful recipes on here you will never be stuck for ideas. I have never been to WA but it sounds like a wonderful place to live.  Have fun with your thermomix.

Welcome Rainbow. My niece is a dietician in Albany & I've been trying to convince her that she needs a TMX.

Hi Rainbow, welcome to the forum.  We loved Albany when our ship stopped there for a day in '08 - I said at the time 'I could live here'.  Have fun with your TMX.

It certainly is a beautiful place Judy. Rainbow has a lovely city for her home. We hope to call there for a few days when we get away in March. Anywhere that may be cool. :-\

Thank you for the warm welcome and Albany is a lovely place to live.  I have a few friends with tmx and everyone was so positive about it I just knew I would have to get one.  I keep spreading the word on how good it is.

I did make the butter today and I was very pleased with the outcome, added some salt and olive oil and used it at lunch time.
 :) :) :)

Hi Rainbow, I haven't been that way for yrs. I am the only in my circle of friends to have 1. I had never heard about this till November last yr, when I was on Gumtree looking for a bread maker and the lady was selling all her kitchen items she didn't need. So I researched it and a week later I held a demo, then had my baby girl and now have my new kitchen toy to make all the baby foods lol. I too made the butter on the weekend, kept the buttermilk, not thinking how long it could keep then went to use it last night Lets just say it didn't smell nice lol. Note to ones self to use straight away lol
