Hi, I just got my Thermomix on Saturday after seeing three demonstrations and taking 6 weeks to decide if it was for me. I work in the food industry and when I get home to my 3 kids, the last thing I feel like doing is finding something to give them for dinner. The Thermomix takes that feeling of despair away and every day since Saturday we have had something healthy and tasty from "Thermy". On the first night I had it I held a bbq and made the Coleslaw and the Crunchie IceCream Slice that we all enjoyed. Being in the food industry I am not afraid to experimant so I look forward to adapting my favourite recipes to suit Thermy and all going well, will share them with you all :D
Happy cooking everyone!

Hi Mandy in Mackay! I'm looking forward to seeing your fab experiments with the TMX!! What do you do in the industry?

Thanks for all your lovely welcomes! I work as a Canteen Convenor in a primary school. We have over 750 students and operate 5 days a week. After a very hectic 2 and a half years of turning our tuckshop into a much healthier place, I am doing job share this year, havig two days off a week. I hope to spend some of my newly acquired free-time learning more about Thermomix and the endless possibilities of creating wonderful food with it!! I know that some schools use Thermomix and there is a websirte )Chef Laurent) featuring tuckshops and Thermomix.
Thanks again

Good luck in the tuck shop. TMX newsletter has promoted Chef Laurent this month too.

Good to hear that you have some time off this year. Catering is an exhausting business.

Welcome! I know what it's like being a 'Tuckshop' lady and dealing with kids you can't say to - 'Just eat it!' LOL :D Yes Chef Laurent feeds a big school and has some very good ideas. Looking forward to hearing yours. ;)
