From 750g. of white flour, one loaf and 3 rolls - 80g, 100g, and 120g. Tops are cut off, centers are removed, sprayed with oil, and dried in oven for 10 mins. at 200. They are then filled with cold filling and placed back in oven to heat at 200. The small rolls are good finger food, the large ones, with salad make a meal.

Well, I'm speechless! :-X
This way we see that a picture is worth a thousand words!
I am very proud and glad you achieved.
This was to celebrate my second star in this forum :) :) :)
Thanks Soooooooooo Much

Yay, success at last Chookie. Was it easier than you thought it would be?
-
Great work Chookie - very impressed
-
Wonderful!
-
It was much harder than I expected. Probably because I had fiddled around so much I had created a mess. My friend Amanda, says that next time it will be easier. Thanks for all the support.

Looks stunning, pity I am going off bread for a while.

Tell Amanda to see if you can get a flickr or photobucket account - then you can put in bigger pictures. It is free and easy.

Great work!!

Thanks Thermomixer, I did get a Flickr account, but because we had reduced the photos to try and put them on another way, they ended up small.
-
Well done Chookie. Your problems had spurred me on to post some photos of my Isi bread. I spent over an hour trying to do it. I have done it before but could not do it this time. I will try again one day when I have heaps of time and am feeling very calm!

Cookie1 I had some photos of your cooking come through in my inbox yesterday with an attachment (not a pm) but when I clicked on the link for the forum, they were nowhere to be seen. I had a look then deleted it so can't give you any further details. They were only small photographs with the first one being a roll with the top cut off so that must have been Isi's recipe.
-
Cookie, don't panic. See if you can get some help. I'm going to need help next time, and until I can write down some easy steps.
-
JD, sorry about that don't know what I doing, what you got may have been just me pressing buttons. :o
-
I'm pretty sure they were Cookie1's photos Chookie, not yours. I'm very quick to delete things and it sometimes would be helpful if I wasn't so quick ;)
-
How on earth did that happen? Very amazing. At least they went somewhere!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm here again! I'm looking forward to trying Isi's bread - I may even give it a go today, I'll see how I go.
I'm fascinated by the idea of stuffing the bread, that's a new one for me. When you say 'stuff with cold filling' Chookie, could you give some examples of what the cold filling might be, please?
Thanks
Caroline

What does the baby feel like eating? Tuna, celery and mayo? Spag bol? Left over stew?, Chicken tikka masala? Chicken in yoghurt? Rogan josh? Macaroni and cheese? It's up to what the baby feels like eating ;D ;D ;D
-
It's good to hear from your Caroline. Hope you are feeling a little better.

Yes Caroline , Thermomixer is right. But how about creamed corn with or without ham/bacon. Mushrooms in sauce. Smoked oysters on white sauce. Tomato and cheese mixed together (olives and anchovies) eggs beaten with a little milk or cream. Also have a look at isi's pasta cooked in the oven. Hope this finds you a little more comfortable.

I made this white loaf today, well actual 1 larger loaf and a small one to give to Mum. Ate 5 slices for lunch, it was so delicious and the texture was just what I have been looking for in a loaf. Have sliced the remainder of the loaf and frozen it to stop myself from eating the whole loaf today :-)) :-))
-
Steady on Judy. 5 slices ;D ;D ;D ;D No butter of course :D :D :D :D

Yes, I went the whole hog. Had salad on some though so it wasn't all bad :P :P :-))
-
Very healthy bread with no additives-at least that's what I tell myself.

Of course! Bread is soul food.

Thanks for the ideas, TMXer and chookie. Somehow I hadn't seen that you'd answered until just now ??? Never mind, at least I've got inspiration now. I'll file this away to try out when I feel more up to it.
