Hi Everyone,
Well I received my TM on Saturday and wonder how we ever managed without one.
It's a constant battle to use it as my husband always want to have a go also.
I suppose to be fair he did buy it for me so I will have to learn to share. I did not quite
understand how it was all going to work until we went to a demonstration then we
could not place the order fast enough.
We also plan to take it with us in the T-Van when we travel and stay at powered sites.
I can see a lot more food being eaten while on the open road.
Now I will be hunting down recipes for our travels. Does anyone else take the TM travelling?

Hi and welcome quiltymumu, glad to see you are fighting over who is going to be cooking - maybe you will need to buy another one for DH :D :D Yes we have members who take their TMX's with them when travelling and some who even go overseas and would like to take it with them there as well ??? ??? ??? This group is TMX addicted and it sounds like you are well on the way to being just like us. Have fun, nice to have you join us.

Hi and welcome. We have a caravan and I bought a bag so that I could take the thermomix travelling with us. The only problem I fouond was getting it out and putting it away all the time, whereas at home it's out all the time. I think it's worth it though as it makes it so easy to make a variety of meals.

Hi quiltymumu and welcome to the forum. We would love to travel Australia, when we eventually do we will definitely take the TMX with us ;D

Hi Q
I too am in the sunny south west!! ;) So funny, your hubby wanting to use it first - that's great that you are both into it!
Just make sure your TM is insured before you take her travelling with you, I heard that they get Thermonapped! :o
Health & happiness,
Bernie

Really Bernie? I may have to insure mine as a separate entity for when I take it away in the caravan.
-
Cookie, that's what I was told by a TM friend down here... worth looking into, I would say..
-
Thanks, I'd hate to have to replace mine as I couldn't be without it. I think Ali mentioned it happening to someone down your way too.

I think Ali did mention it. Happened in Busselton?? ??? ???
-
OMG! Can you imagine! :o So, are they safe to leave out on the kitchen bench, or do I need a security guard? ;)
-
Welcome!
That's a bit scary, hearing of Thermonapping in our wonderful South West!
Maybe you'll have to disguise it as something boring like a very big toaster..... ;D
-
The one Ali mentioned happened in Bunbury (Carey Park - I think she said because I am sure I made the mention of it often being referred to as Scary Park by the locals!!) sure it was a consultant packing or unpacking and it was taken from her car.
-
Just imagine rocking up to Cash Converters with a brand new TM!! LOL... :P
-
Hi Guys! Have been busy entertaining the kiddies for holidays and haven't been here much (roll on school Term I say - more time for the forum - oops better be careful of COS (children over shoulder)!! ;D
Anyway, Yes it was Bunbury that my work colleague had her TM stolen from her car! Not sure what the thieves would have thought when they opened the bag (maybe they are just eating really well now!).
Looking forward to the next catch up and have been enjoying meeting/reading about all the new members on the forum, even though I haven't had time for "Hi's" :)
Ali
