Title: Hello and what does 'MC' mean?
Post by: sarechoy on December 10, 2009, 01:58:42 am
Hi all!  Sarah from Australia here :)  Question... I'm going to cook the 'Pork Ragout Rigatoni' from a recipe I saw in the forum... what does 'MC' mean in terms of Thermomix?

welcome sarah :)

MC = measuring cup (the little clear cup that sits in your lid)

Hi sarechoy, the MC stands for Measuring Cup.  The clear plastic cup that sits in the  lid of the TM.  :)

Thanks all!  I thought as much... then I saw it referred to as the 'Thermomix lid' and a few other things, so thought I'd check!  Looking forward to trying all these fab recipes!  Cheers, Sare

Hi Sarah, welcome to the forum.  Have fun with your thermomix. You will find we use a lot of abbreviations on this forum, some because we are lazy and can't be bothered typing someone's full name.
