Title: Review-Chicken marinated with summer vegetables
Post by: cookie1 on November 21, 2009, 09:15:41 am
Chicken marinated with summer vegetables
Full Steam Ahead

I made the chicken and vegetables part as per the recipe with just less chicken breasts (only 3 of us). I marinated the chicken for about 2 hours.
I only made 1 cup of couscous as that makes more than enough for us.
We really enjoyed it. I had a fair bit of the sauce left so I added it to a spag bog I made the next night. I think it would freeze ok.
I'll definitely make this again.

I've tried this recipe and really liked

http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2010/09/chicken-marinated-with-summer.html

As cookie said the sauce was quite a lot, I kept some to use for other dishes
I don't know how much is the couscous listed in Full Steam Ahead, but in "A Tutto Vapore" it is 300g. So I did
For me it is too much for 4 people. Surely it depends on how much one eats :)
For me 150-200g of couscous would be enough

I agree with you farfallina. I always need to reduce couscous, pasta, rice etc for us and it is far too much.

Looks great farfallina - love the way you mould your grains and rice for serving
