Hi! Does anyone have a recipe for Hainanese chicken with the chicken done in the varoma? Thanks! Heidi

They did this on Master Chef. Looks easy enough to adapt.

Welcome Hides - wonder if you could use the white cooked chicken http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=881.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=881.0) type cooking to make it?  Have to check and then cook the rice in the stock?

I was talking about this recipe today! We have a CHinese consultant who has developed an authentic one, that I had the privilege of tasting last week, so I can put it up here soon as I get my hands on it...just remind me though...mind like a steaming basket!

It is exactly Thermomixer's recipe, Hides! I make it all the time, but not with the thermomix. I will try Thermomixer's method next time. It looks great! I drizzle a mixture of sesame oil and soy sauce, and top it with coriander leaves and spring onion to make it look like what they serve in Singapore. Serve it with jasmine rice cooked with a paste of ginger and garlic and chicken stock... yum!!!!

Thanks huilink,  have to try cooking the rice in the stock myself  ;D ;D ;D
