Title: Red lentils?

I have about a kilo of red lentils, and no idea what to do with them  ???.  Any recipes or suggestions?

I have a nice red lentil soup recipe which I can post if you like - although it isn't really soup weather at the moment. :)

There are lots of Indian recipes - dahl is the main one.  You can grind them up to use as a thickening agent for soups and you can certainly make salads with them.

I use red lentils to thicken a lot of my soups.

You can add some red lentils to mashed potatoes. Just add them at the start of cooking and they "disappear" in the final mash. I thought they would turn the mash a slight pink colour but they don't
