Hi, my name is Desi. I am new in this forum. I love using my TM and at the moment I'm interest in finding a three compartment bread pan that are especially made for baking baguettes. Does anyone know where I can buy them in Oz?
Thanks.

Hi Desi, welcome to our forum. Sorry, can't answer your question but someone will, I'm sure.

Thanks Judydawn. Nice to hear from you. No doubt someone will.
At the moment, I'm trying to learn how to use the forum...I think it is set up a little differently to
the ones I have known. I'm happy to practice. LOL :)

and you will see lots of info on Bread tins. I saw them in the place I went to in Cairns but they are made in South Australia. My place will send them.

Sorry Desi - I have seen one, two and six loaf tins. Pay to email some of the chef suppliers like Scullerymade and Chefs Hat that I know of in Melbourne.
One tip - if you can get the ones with a perforated/mesh base rather than solid, then they do cook better and crisper on the base.

The tins I bought havee holes along the sides at the bottom and realy crisp up the bread.

i have asked my mum to get me some from peters of kensington (for christmas ;))

Oh how I love Peter's. I still shop there on line but oh my goodness I would love to go there in person. Also have you mother look at Essential Ingredients in Alexandria. a real"you beaut" chef's paradise.

oh, mum is only ordering online too!
i have been to peters, i found it too overwhelming, too much to pick from!

Yes it is. You need a clear head, a full day and a real sense of adventure. I once found on the floor under a cupboard 4 Stuart crystal whiskey Tumblers for $38 for the four. They must have been there many years! You can't buy even one for that price today. :-))

Love finding those little treasures - good work Gretchen

Oh Gretchen well done. I did a similar thing recently with some Bodum glassware (not as nice as Stuart crystal) I had seen at Maggie Beers in the Barossa. A kitchen shop had them incorrectly priced -$20 less than normal. I bought up and then sent a friend in on the weekend and they had discovered the mistake. Another friend got some Scanpan at House for about a third of the price because someone had priced it incorrectly. I think I would have preferred the Stuart crystal though.
