Show us YOUR Bimby is not a contest, but it is an invitation to have fun !

Get ready to say "Cheese" ;D :D ;) and submit your photo for the new online Bimby photo album and see your name in lights (well, okay, your name in pixels...)

p.s. - we've already had one submission to "Show us YOUR Bimby" from somewhere in Australia...
we can't show the whole photo until we've received a few more submissions... so this is your teaser... do you know who owns this Bimby? When we have enough photos submitted to make an album, you'll get to see the whole picture! ;)

I don't want people to think this is a contest of a competion... a simple shot of Bimby on the kitchen counter is FINE! Truly, I want to show Canadians that 'real people' own Thermomixes, not just the rich and famous. (Of course, I'm not exactly sure which category you fall into...) At the price it is here ($1600 CDN), most people just do not see themselves as being "worthy" of owning one. If they could see photos of a few regular homes and families with Bimbys in their midst, it might help people here to understand that this is a tool that is not exclusive to restaurants etc.

I for one, am not a restaurant chef, nor am I rich or famous. I'm a down-to-earth and very frugal middle-aged woman who is simply ~~having an affair with a kitchen appliance~~ enjoying the rediscovery of fun in the kitchen. And all you Aussies are very much responsible for the fun I've had to date.

I look forward to seeing whatever people submit. From simple to silly, all entries will be treasured...

What's that about "eating out of the bowl". You mean others do that too? I thought I was the only one...

I totally agree! Out of the 6 TMX I have sold 5 have been sold to people on some kind of pension - They can genuinely see that TMX can save them heaps of dollars in groceries - It has actually been harder for those who do have a good job to see that it will be any use to them. :-)) ??? :-\

Just did a quick calculation and we are paying about $300 more for TMX in Aust!! :( [color]

This is a great real-life candid moment and I applaud you for sending it in! (Despite your reservations about 'mess'.) Anyway, people are looking at your Bimby, not what brand of Parmesan you buy or what pattern of china plates you have.... ;) This is just what people need to see. Guess what? My kitchen looks like that more than not... When I'm cooking with kids around, on 2 ft of counter-top, it's a zoo. :o

Never in a million years did I ever expect to find the space to keep an appliance ON THE COUNTER ALL THE TIME! If you had told me this four months ago I'd have bet big money against it. But that Bimby of mine is used more often than any other kitchen tool. Period.

Love your photo, love your Bimby, and keep up the great work!
