Well, itīs time for me to turn off the computer.
Itīs 10pm here now and my day tomorrow starts at 5am.
So have a wonderful day, even if it is Monday... just think about it, it will be almost over for you when Iīm starting ist ;D.
Read you again tomorrow, (today?) :)!
-
LOL.... Sleep well...
-
It is great to have more posts coming from Europe/America - something to read first up in the am.
Ta - good morning when you read this.
-
Yes, it keeps the forum rolling along nicely - things to read with your morning cuppa before us Aussies start our postings.
-
Yes I agree, Good night everyone and good morning Aussies!! lol ;)
-
Wow Kathryn you were on early. We spent our morning starting to try and clean MIL place. I think it will take about 18 months!
Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can do with stuff apart from charity groups? It is not good 'stuff' and will probably nearly all need throwing away.
-
Good Morning ;D!
Iīm already in the middle of houshold shores, itīs 10:15 am.
Donīt know what to cook today, maybe it will just be Pizza. We love the crust made out of whole spelt.
@Kathryn: Iīm just guessing, is it your Inlawsplace your talking about? I would throw away as much as possible. If itīs not fit for charity or sale, itīs plain junk. If there are pieces that you like and donīt really want to keep them, take a picture of it, then throw it out.
Cleaning out my parents house tought me not to hold on to stuff. They werenīt even collectors, yet still they had way too much stuff.
Have a fun evening everybody!
-
Yes, I agree, get a skip in and get rid of everything family members don't want. Even charities are fussy these days but you could try them with some of the better stuff.. If you take it home, it will clutter your sheds and then you leave your DD in the same position you have been put in now. You cannot afford to be sentimental when clearing out parents' houses Cookie1.

Okay,
Iīm about ready for bed.... have a wonderful day! I added a recipe at the breakfast section.
Read you later :)!
-
Change of shift ;D. I have to cook dinner now & house keeping before my hubby comes home 8). I was lazy today :-))
Good night and good morning
-
Good morning!
Iīm home from my walk with the dog, had my cereal and now I shoud do some things around the house...
Elli, Iīm glad to hear you were lazy 8)! Good job!
-
Made it again!
Another day is done, it was a very busy one, with lots of driving around and taking kids from A to B. But I had fun!
You guys have a nice day!
Oh, Elli might still be here :)!
-
I'm here Susanne. I have to go to the farm to get my share. Read you tomorrow ;)
-
Good Morning!
I guess Elli got of the computer lat in Canada. I wish I was a night person ;). But to me it is clear, that the night is for sleeping ;D.
Day is starting okay, one kid stayed home with belly ache, hope itīs not the stomac flue.
-
Seems like an early start for you today ? Maybe the time difference is not so big ?
-
Good morning,
I know..... I have to try to go at 10 pm and get up at 4am :)
Hope, everybody feels better.
What is the time difference ? It is 7:am in Canada, 1:00pm in Germany, and Australia ?
-
Think that it is 9pm in Melbourne - but it may have been 8pm when you posted ??
-
You are 8 hours ahead of me, or 9, depending on where you live in Australia.
Tebasile is 8 hours behind me, we are deviding our earth in thirds this way.
I guess I should change to my lokal time on my profile, I thought this way it would be easier for me to know whether you are asleep or awake. I think I know by now!
Normally I have an early start, my alarm sets off at 5am, but only to give me time to drink my tea and really wake up. Iīm too grumpy in the morning and I donīt want my kids in therapy because of that ;D, they deserve better! :)
-
I'd be even grumpier Susanne if I had to wake at 5 am. The lawnmower man woke us at 8.37am this morning and we weren't particularly pleased with that. Oh, this retired life does make you lazy ;) ;) ;)
-
Hi Judy,
all I need is time to wake up before anybody wants anything from me :). "Mom do this, mom read that, mom you got to signe this, mom you need to pick me up from school because, mom I canīt ride the bike today because, mom there is no way I`m going by bus because....... Time and tea (my personal drug in the morning, coffee around noon) allow me to wake up to a degree where I donīt start yelling ;D . Thatīs a problem, easily solved.
But I can imagine what you feel like with the lawn mower. I would sleep in more if I had the chance and I would hate my neigbours mowing the lawn that early 8). The good thing is: canīt hear with my right ear. I only have to turn to my left side for (almost) peace and quiet! :)
-
Yes, there are some advantages of being deaf in 1 ear ;) ;)
-
Yes, got to have some advantage there ;D!
-
I have a couple retired neighbours around me. They cut the grass 3 times a week, pulling weeds twice a day and on mondys they dust their bushes and trees ;D
Susanne ;D I'm still 6 hours behind you and your cousin lives 40 min from where I live :D
Think that it is 9pm in Melbourne - but it may have been 8pm when you posted ??
Aaah, then we are 13 or 14 hours apart. Good to know.
-
Oh yes,
youīre right, 6 hours and my american family in Utah 8 hours. Tztztz. Well too many timezones get me mixed up.
