Haven't visited the forum for a few days - been sketchy really for past few weeks - but I was astounded that no mention has been made of our very own Thermomixers appearance in The Age (Melbourne newspaper) yesterday. The journalist "meets five owners of gadgets that fascinate and inspire them". And there he is, in all his glory, with his magnificent machine, yet again "taking it for the team". Well done JB - don't know how you got involved but we are glad you are spreading the gospel of Thermomix..................
-
Wow... Congrats JB :) I would love to see the article. Any volunteers to scan? Please?
Thanks
-
I will do my best MM. Will probably have to shrink it by photocopier before scanning............If anyone more computer savvy than I gets there first so be it!!

Thats the article Tasbel - clever old you, I never think to look online! In the "real' article there are photos of all 5 of them with their gadgets & Thermomixer is first!!
-
Good article - Maybe expensive but who here would be without one - + throw away all other gadgets :: :-: *: ^^

Good one!

oh good story!

Great articles. Everyone will be after a machine. I no longer really think of the cost as I couldn't be without mine. The cost has become immaterial.
-
Nice, thanks for posting..
-
The Courier article was much better promo for the machine - after talking to the reporter for half an hour very little actually made it to print. It still makes it look like a gadget for people with too much money and little sense.
-
not your fault though thermomixer - you can tell the other reporter actually got to develop an addiction to it lol
-
From memory, the Courier reporter may have written about it before and is still hankering after one - just needs to save her pennies?

GREAT articles! Good to see such positivity out there. Yeh, the price is such a non-event after you have it. I had it in my head for over a year "too dear" but really, now it's here and paid for and saving us money every week, I'm so "whatever" about the $2k. And I'm always thinking what else people spend $2k on and how this is so, so, so much more useful and important. :)

Yeah, I drive a mazda 3 and people say why don't you drive something more sporty, European...... cos I love spending my money on food, cookbooks and Bimby
Priorities - good food and cooking for me - next i want a hybrid car and all my friends groan. Whatever
