Title: Vessels to steam individual custards etc in...?
Post by: mama_bel on September 10, 2009, 02:47:12 pm
Does anyone have small containers which fit into the varoma to steam individual serves of something?  If so, wondering what the diameter of these are, what they're made from and how many fit into the base of the varoma?  Thanks!

You can try rigging up something like this http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1644.msg15007#msg15007 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1644.msg15007#msg15007) and get Nestle dariole moulds http://www.chef.com.au/prod/show/7213/dariole-mould-65cm-x-65cm-125ml-by-nestle/ (http://www.chef.com.au/prod/show/7213/dariole-mould-65cm-x-65cm-125ml-by-nestle/)

I have used small ceramic dishes - Tenina did chocolate pots on her blog too? in these little ceramic moulds

The Spanish and Italians use aluminuim moulds
