It looks like I'm going to have a houseful of guests this weekend.
I want to get as much food prep. done in advance.
I was planning on making pizza for the teenagers, one evening.
Can I make them and freeze them????
Hubby & I don't eat pizza normally,so I'm not sure what is best, so if I can freeze them when would I do it?
Can I freeze them ready made or must they be raw?

Whilst I've not tried freezing ready-made pizzas before, I don't know why you couldn't. I have made the pizza dough and freezed these before, defrost in the fridge in the morning then let come to room temperature before proceeding with the pizzas.

I've frozen cooked pizza bases and they were fine. You could remove them so that they would defrost, put the topping on and then cook them. I have had a pizza party where I did this. I supplied the bases, and all the things to put on them and people made up their own.

This pizza dough (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=16957.0) recipe lets you make the dough up to 3 days in advance and rise in the fridge. then you just have to roll assemble and cook.

That's great. I didn't know you could keep it for so long in the fridge.
Thanks DD.

I've tried DD's pizza base recipe and we loved it. The flavour is quite special. I must do it again.
