Title: Choc Chip Anzac Slice

120 g butter
90 g desiccated coconut
100 g rolled oats
200 g raw sugar
180 g self-raising flour
20 g golden syrup
1 egg
100 g chocolate chips

Method:
• Preheat oven to 180 C
• Line a slice tray with baking paper
• Melt butter in TM bowl for 30 sec / 60C / speed 3 (or until melted)
• Add remaining ingredients and mix on 15 secs / speed 3
• Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if needed until mixture is combined
• Press into lined slice tray. Press down with the back of a spoon to make smooth
• Bake in oven 180c for approx. 30min until golden on top
• Leave to cool in tray before slicing.

Getting close to Anzac Day now.

I made some Anzacs on the weekend. DH said he was sick of all these new fangled biscuits and wanted something simple. Anzacs were perfect.

Cookie my Dh says something similar and Anzacs are my something simple bickie too.

Thanks, does look nice.
Anzacs were one of the first things I converted to TMX.  I like to add a few chopped Macadamia nuts.
