Last night we went to our first Thermomix Cooking Class and I overheard someone telling a guest that you can cook couscous in the Thermoserve. Is this right? If so, does anyone know the details?
Thanks

i always used to make couscous by simply pouring boiling water over it (soemtimes with some stock powder and spices) and covering and leaving to sit for 5 mins, then fluff with fork and cover and leave for another 5 mins. would work even better in the thermoserver as it would keep it hotter :)

Fantastic Karen - how easy is that?
Tonight I am steaming some white fish fillets and prawns in the veroma, with broccoli on the side. I also found a feta cheese and sour cream sauce to top off. Couscous in the Thermoserve and I reckon we have a dinner fit for a queen!!!
Thanks

lol!
you could put the feta in the cous cous too. my mum makes a cous cous salad with tomato and cucumbe rand spices in it, sometimes i add a little feta to that - yum!

Thanks - gret tip. You can do the full on steaming deal, but for most of us, just pour, rest (now in the Thermoserver), fork and serve - easy. :-* :-*

Would never have thought of it - what a great idea. 2 things learnt today - going well :D :D

Judy, I'm like you. 2 new things, degrees and halves and now couscous in the thermoserve. Do hope the old brain can cope with all that. :-))

They are certainly pushing it Cookie1 ;D ;D ;D I write all these little hints/tips down in a book or I would soon forget them ;) ;)
It's great to be still learning though.

Thanks for the tip, Jenny H. Something else to say about the wonderful Thermoserver and another way of slipping in a dating bid at a Varoma demo. :)
