From perth and had my thermie for about a year now, and had to register because found a missing ingredient in the new EDC

Hello and welcome to the forum Stuart. This has to be a first, someone joining to let us know something is wrong with a recipe. Brilliant, thanks so much for alerting us to this (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=15491.msg361701#msg361701).

A very warm welcome, Stuart. That was a good catch! I've made a note of it. As I think I've said before, when you publish, it's proofread, proofread and proofread!! ;D Thanks again!! Looking forward to hearing more from you soon . .. :D

Welcome to the forum, one day I'll have to get round to making my own pastry 😉
-
Welcome Stuart. Glad you have joined us. Are you a covert to thermie cooking too, what motivated you to purchasing one?
I've got a cycling mate. Last year his wife hosted a demo. She had no intention of buying one. After the demo finished thermie was bought.
I go to his place and they have demo'd some recipes on me as trials. Soon as I saw it in action and looked up on it I knew I had to have it.
Also that Sweet Shortcrust Pastry was a new addition. I compared to the old EDC.
Making pastry is easy in the thermie. My first pastry was rough puff pastry mmmm

Well my uncle has had one for years but never seen it in action.
Now my cousin has one, but she never saw mine in action either. Other cousins have. Did invite her for the demo tho.
Also my mates wife, it could have been a bit of a revenge thing for all the bikes he had bought recently :)

Females have to have their 'toys' as well Stuart.

Hello Stuart, welcome
-
Hi and welcome Stuart. :)
how many do you cook for?
-
Hi and welcome Stuart. How adventurous to be making pastry - something most men don't do - and to pick up on the error in the EDC. Like your story about the Thermomix purchase and look forward to hearing more from you.

Pastry I wonder what you would think if I told you I had made the White chocolate cheesecake with raspberry ganache in Tenina's FFS. & I have CADA for breakfast majority of the time
Oh that cheesecake is so yummy, putting raspberry's on top cuts thru the dark chocolate ganache.

Good on you.
