Title: Miele steam oven

I am thinking about getting a miele steam oven but was told recently that our perth water can damage it within a year. I'm not sure if this applies to all steam ovens. I want to buy the miele because it is a very dependable brand,I already have the washing machine and have no complaints. Has anyone had any problems with steam ovens due to our water in perth.

i don't have the dedicated steam oven, my oven is the top of the range miele oven and has a steam function which I use regularly, no probe here. :)
