Well my problem here I think is that I didn't read the recipe correctly and tried to add everything to the bowl and when I realised had to try and mix it which meant it went clumpy. In an effort to get the lumps out I put the mixture in the bowl (in half batches) and whizzed it to make it smooth. I baked 2 separate loaves the first in a tin and the second as a cob loaf a few days later. In both cases I cooked for the required time but when I cut it it was very sticky particularly the cobb loaf. I guess I needed to cook for longer though it was very brown and crusty on the outside. It could have also been related to my mess up at the beginning :) Having said that though my eldest son in particular really likes it. I will definitely give it another go and try the right method:)
