Title: cooking chops in the veroma
Post by: pennyp on May 07, 2014, 04:57:24 am
I have only had my thermi for a week and want to cook one of our favorite recipes.  Normally cooked in the oven for 1hr in a beautiful marinade.  Can I steam it for 1 hr? Would it be tender.  The meat melts in your mouth when I do it in the oven.  Thanks for your help.

I've not done lamb chops in the TMX penny but I found this (http://paleomix.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/lamb-and-steamed-veggies.html) recipe which may give you some guidance.

Next time you prepare them to do in the oven, why not try one in the Varoma. I would place it on a damp, crumpled piece of baking paper. Or even in a small bowl or dish that will fit in the Varoma. That way if it doesn't work you haven't wasted too much.
