Title: What are these
Post by: obbie on January 05, 2014, 09:56:00 pm
Ok, so my DH has picked a couple of kilos of these sort of asian  fruit from our tree yesterday.

Does anyone know what sort of berry it is, it looks and tastes sort of a lychee on the inside.

Last year I made jam from them, but have heaps to use.
Thanks.

Obbie - if you send the photo to  http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/   they may be able to id the fruit for you . . .

Good luck!  I'd be interested to hear what they are.

It's not an African apricot is it? Or a guava of some sort? Does it have a central seed, or lots or like citrus Robyn?

Here is another fruit not well known but delicious. It is an Abiu. I can buy them locally.
