Title: leaking base causing Error 52
Post by: finnsdo on January 04, 2014, 10:35:30 am
My grey base that attaches to the metal pot has a crack now which leaks fluid to the copper pins. This causes an error 52. Time for a new base? Or is a entire new pot and base the better bet? ???

Hi Finnsdo,
I would be contacting my consultant asap. You really don't want water to get into the base! If you are no longer in contact with your consultant call Head Office (HO) who should be able to help. You might even take a photo of the issue so that they can fix it asap. I suspect that you may just need a new grey base, however HO/consultant will be able to advise more accurately :)

I suggest you get a new base ASAP.As Jamberie says you will damage the base unit if you continue to use the cracked grey base.

Definitely agree with the above. Error 52 means water on the pins at the base. I wouldn't use the machine until you had spoken to someone about it.
