Title: Has anyone tried caramelized apple risotto in veg book??

Title says it all i think.
Just wondering if anyone had tried the caramelized apple rissotto pudding and what they thought?
Its the one in the vegetarian book.

I haven't tried it yet Sheree, but a friend has and said that it was lovely.

yeah there is - butter and mascarpone cheese.

I was thinking i might spice it up a bit and reduce the sugar and put white choc instead of the mascarpone.
Hmmmm might take a bit of experimenting.

Would you ming posting the recipe? I don't have any of the Australian cookbooks, and that one sounds lovely! I'd be happy to try it out and let you know how it goes.

Riv Mum I have  made this and it's really nice. I only made half the recipe as there is only 3 of us and for a 1/2 quantity I used 50g raw sugar. I think it could be reduced even more.
