Made 1/2 quantity of this, love it. Nice Asian flavours which make it different from normal coleslaw. I didn't have red cabbage so used all white, used toasted sesame oil and also toasted the sesame seeds. I had no peanuts for garnishing.
I can highly recommend this recipe of Dani's.

Sounds and looks nice Judy. Is this from her second book Judy?
-
Yes Julie, sorry have added the extra details to the first posting.
-
Yum, that does sound nice Judy.
-
Good review. I must have another look at it.
-
Thanks Judy. :)
-
I love the sound of peanut butter and coleslaw.
-
Thanks Judy. Sounds a bit like the Japanese dressing i made for the green beans. Will try this when I win the book!!

One of us is going to be buying this Chookie! Or is there two? I'll have to go and have a look. Yes Chookie, we can both win it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us. ;D ;D ;D
Just a note, if we do, it is not rigged!
-
Cookie, if you win, it certainly not rigged. But if I win, it must be rigged as I never win anything.

Gosh it sounds as if you 2 ladies really want this book. It's in the lap of our dear MM and his little random drawing machine now. Good luck ladies and to all our entrants.

That salad sounds fantastic.
How can you win this book? Maybe they will have 3 books.
-
We have just had a competition (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=14372.0) to win 2 of these books arcadia, it closed last night. The minimum amount of postings was 50 though so you wouldn't have qualified for this one but keep posting, get your numbers up and there are bound to be more competitions in the future.

Congratulations again Chookie.
I think we may be having another book giveaway after the Christmas rush. I haven't asked yet but I am hopeful the answer to a book will be yes.

I have to make everything with peanut butter, so I made this on the weekend to take to a bbq and was well received. I followed the recipe closely (forgetting to garnish with sesame seeds and peanuts until after the photo). Very yummy, highly recommended. Will make it a regular :)
Just keep a super close eye on the timing for this one, a nano-second longer and the salad would be mush.

It certainly looks prettier than mine by using the red cabbage Jamberie. Nevertheless mine was great too.
-
I don't think I'll worry about getting two different types of cabbage next time though.
-
Thanks for that hint Jamberie.
